Ymir taming

I read that you need veggie cakes and it’s a passive tame, but there’s no other info on the method like some of the other dragons have. Is there a way that I’m suppose to approach a Ymir dragon that won’t cause it to turn me into an ice pop?

for me the strat was to fly down to its mouth , hop off and feed it then fly away took me ages i recommend putting a small base near by and setting your flyer to passive Ymir loses agro fast and likely wont attack your dino
