The performance question:

When does the mod work? Once, when the UI is opened? And/Or dynamically in the background, updating the UI contents?

The calculation is only executed when
  1. the tab of a certain entity type is selected/visible
  2. the background running for this type is activated in the settings
(And once for all types when the game is loaded)

Is this replacing / disabling the vanilla debug tools AltGr + D ?

I have the same "issue" as GordonDry. It looks like its preventing the game from catching certain key assignments. Shortcuts are sometimes caught, sometimes not. Clicking somewhere in the main render area + pressing the shortcut afterwards helps for a very short moment. DIsabled just this mod and I don't have this behaviour anymore.

Ah this is maybe because the cursor is hanging in a TextInput.
The welcome window has one and the program tab. If anyone knows how to prevent automatic focus, please tell.
The first time I noticed this, I just had closed the statistics window and thought the focus might still be on the window or the hightlighted button in the bottom. The other times when I tried to recreate this, I did not have the window open, so don't know where the focus was.
Maybe adding
local gameUI = api.gui.util.getGameUI() local mainRender = api.gui.comp.GameUI.getMainRendererComponent(gameUI) mainRender:setFocus()
into the onClose() function helps?

I tried choosing different tabs before closing and clicking into the field after closing the UI and still got no AltGr + D ...

AltGr + D is always working for me

Only thing where it's not working is the console.
Do you have the console open in background?

Ach so, ja. Ich habe Tpf2 ja via GOG, aber ich kenne das, weil ich Assets für Cities: Skylines erstellt hatte "back in the days".
Allerdings, es kann ja verschiedene Ordner geben, also einen dedizierten Git-Ordner, auf den sonst nichts zugreift außer Git (und Notepad++) *duck*
