Hey Wyvern, just a question, the beautiful pink trees are just showing up as grey. The trunks are fine, but the foliage is just all grey and ugly, any ideas?

Try unsubbing for a few minutes, until the download steam thing finishes, then resub to clear any update textures bugs. Sometimes texture files don't update correctly due to how steam updates texture mods. Once the mod re-downloads it should correct the issue. Let me know if this doesn't fix it.

ive redownloaded it just as you said, several times, but it still comes up as grey. ive even validated the files, im not sure what im doing wrong.

I'll take a look at the mod in the dev kit to see if something happened between the last update and WC updates.

Waiting on the Genesis 2 kit update so WC will stop moving files around. After it's updates for Genesis 2 I plan on fixing all the mods that are having persistent texture bugs.

I haven't gotten around to update it yet 0.0/, but glad it works for you. A question I forgot to ask earlier was if you had the dlcs when you were having problems? I've narrowed it down to files being changed by WC, Texture overrides, or textures that are still linked to the original dlcs instead of my alter ones.

Not to bring back an old thing, but I just DLed this mod and was having the same issue, so I came here looking for answers. I found that to have the trees be pink, one must have the Crystal Isles DLC installed.
I tested this several times to be sure. Uninstalled Crystal Isles DLC, trees turn grey. Reinstall it, they are pink once more.

If you are seeing grey, texture-less trees where they should be pink, install the Crystal Isle DLC.

But can you fix that somehow? Crystal Isles is quite a big map :D
