Uhm, it already is? We use it with her cows and chickens on the server we play on. It's up to you to set up the .ini file to use the animals you want for the chicken coop and milking stations.

I'm still learning ini stuff for my own server so i was wondering if this is what i would have to do to set the cows and chickens to the coop and what not

Correct, if you only want the cows and chickens for milk and eggs then yes, that is all you need to add.
