1918 - Basic Eq.: Mauser Model 1895
1936 - Weapons I: ??? (Couldn't find something used by Chile that was a proper rifle and post-1928, so maybe just a Kar98?)
1939 - Weapons II: MP34
1942 - Weapons III: Johnson Model 1941
That probably would be the most sensible approach. But I was also thinking if a "what-if" approach wouldn't be best? I like giving countries a unique 'look and feel' - so the world isn't just spamed with mausers and yankee weapons
Interesting idea.. So a sort of its own domestic arsenal if im not misunderstanding? It could certainly be plausible, since we have the FAMAE arms factory that was founded back in 1811, although irl they've always been producers of foreign weapons for the most part, not designers/makers.
On the other hand, imports from countries besides the three main ones (USA, GER, AUS) could work for a unique feel, albeit less plausible than the former, funnily enough.
Yes! Exactly, a domestic design. I'm happy to go with your suggestions, and make an Mp34 as lv3. While, I also had a quick read into Chile and FAMAE PAF submachine gun could work as Lv 4. (since its really a 1940s design) despite being a 1970s gun. Although I might add some changes to the Mp34 to make it look more closer to the PAF.
And here is my current list:
Modelo 1893 Mauser
Modelo 1935 Carabineros Mauser
FAMAE Mp34
FAMAE PAF - Looking thing
I guess I could focus on Hungry next 😁. As currently South America (excluding central) I feel has never been done, even though its going to be a Mauser fest and fictional smgs.
Weapons II: ZK-383
Weapons III: MP-40
(or if you'd like you could mix these two around, though chronological-wise makes sense since the ZK-383 is one of the first sub machine guns issued to the Bulgarian Army during the Second World War.)
- love your mod btw.
:)
I'm willing to go with your suggestion, as it does seem that Bulgaria was one of those countries that mostly bought weapons instead of setting up even the slightest domestic production.
Do you have any idea what they might have been called in the Bulgarian service?
And thank you kindly 😊
First off, I just want to say thank you for being quite the kind person :)
Second, as to the best of my knowledge Bulgaria simply had these weapons to their respected designation. Like the Mannlicher series of rifles however the Bulgarians pronounced Mannlicher "Man-licker" as "Man-li-her," at least as far as what I've been told by my Bulgarian relatives. I would however like to point out that Bulgaria did however have submachine guns previously however for an odd reason they were issued only to police forces previous to 1939, only a handful of MP-18s and 28s / also on another note Bulgaria did actually manage to produce domestic firearms, including some rather interesting designs such as a tri-barrel smg with a fire rate of between 500-900 rpm, but such designs are limited and never even left the trial phases so it was simply easier and cheaper to import foreign weapons than manage a domestic production.
Again, thanks :)
basic eq. Springfield m1903
Weapons I vz. 24
Weapons II M3 Grease Gun
Weapons III M1941 Johnson
Basic Eq: KL.303 (Basically Arisaka but rechambered to 7.70mm by Estonians, looks the same)
Weapons I: M1935 (Estonian modified carbine of the Soviet Mosin nagant)
Weapons II: A.T M27 (You already have it on Estonia)
Weapons III: A.T M1938 (A smg that would have been Produced by Estonians but didnt get farther than a prototype because of the soviet invasion. If Estonia is still alive enough by 1942, they would have definitely produced it)

Hi Tuhkur,
So for Estonia I've went for the standard mossin as the KL.303 was a Kaitseliit weapon mostly (Defence Union - Paramilitary) and not actually used by the army.
For weapon I if I remember correctly I already have the M35
As for the Kp M1938 I do plan on drawing it up as I plan to revist my dear Eesti.
