Brainstorming about ranged attacks
Moved this off your front page, here's report of experimenting with giving them ranged attack.
Thing to note too just inferring from your comment on front page:

-Avoid t-posing, if find animation works with spawn in future, move appropriate faction animations to chaos within this part of the db: culture_to_battle_animation_tables_tables

Anywho, here's what saying on your front page:

Loving this mod, well done. Playing WoC, have Marks of Chaos, and Lords of Change mod going and this, so I've got two "legions of change" with these little guys, some chosen with tzeech' marks, and then the tzaangors from Deco's beastmen mod and my little submod made...it is...freaking awesome.

My only comment is be perfect as other's have said some way to work in even just some effects for them.

Top of my head, know the warlock riders or w/e from Dark Elves? In melee they'll shoot out that purple streak, and have limited spell use, I wonder if be feasible to incorporate one, or both of those elements off of that unit to the horrors?

Okay did some experimenting too for what it is worth, I gave them the salamander ranged attack, now they won't T-pose if do that, just won't do any ranged attack cos no animation for spawns...now if wanna trip balls and freak out, test it out with the animation for salamanders on the spawns, they'll do flame attack and actually looks cool for unit, but my gods...is it horrifying watching them move and the model become distorted from salamanders lol

So ya, best I can tell again for what its worth have two routes, get someone help make custom skin, but pick unit like salamanders can work off of animations in order to achieve ranged attack

Make custom animation and skin for spawns as a framework, personally I think what you've already be perfect just spit some hot hot fire now I've seen it ALMOST in action lol




I'll prob keep messing around with this, if I ever figure something out I'll share my findings here with ya.

By all means, create a dependent mod that adds what you think works.
