This addon used to be able to playback from YouTube out of the box. But this is no longer the case. The radio will display an error if you try to play YouTube URLs.

The addon used APIs of third party services to convert videos to MP3 and provide an streamable URL. Those were very slow and unreliable. It got so bad that I desided to remove the support completely. Please don't annoy me about that.

No, most likely not. When it comes back, it will be definitely be not working out of the box. An decentralized approach that is self hosted by the server admin via an server addon can work. But this is just not a thing yet.

No, most likely not. The radio needs a freely accessible API that lets you do automate things. Most services doesn't have that. And if they have, they are slow/unreliable. Video to MP3 converting on a large scale is demanding.

This addon is free to stay free. So anything that costs money (such as a hosting) is not an option for this addon. I'm not a business.

Hosting such a service is expensive.
- It has to handle a lot of traffic.
- It has to have a powerful cpu
- It has to have a big storage for caching
- It has to be safe from abuses
- Hosting one is also a legal nightmare

Yes, but these are do not work well with the radio in multiplayer. The generated download URLs are are only accessible once often. Once you playback the URL, it goes stale. The URLs are time limited too.

I can not change anything about it. I will not give support regarding this.

These use another technology for YouTube playback than BASS. They use an integrated internet browser. It has many downsides:
- Very bad for performance (CPU and memory wise)
- Very unstable, crashes the game often
- No 3D world sounds
- Very time consuming to code an integration for it
- Just a way too hacky for my taste

Because of the downsides this radio addon will never use the integrated internet browser. Go and use the other addon if you don't like my decision.

The radio can not and never will play videos. It can play sound/music only.
I recommend to use the radio for internet radio streams and online files only.
