i think it retreats from the map when you damage it enough i witnessed the same thing

you can kill it (from experience not random claim) so it shows it isn't supposed to leave the map forever after taking enough damage

If you do damage gradually it seems to leave, but if you do alot of the damage at once it'll die before it can flee.

Kill as in the thing falls to the ground? That's actually really cool, I thought it was indestructible.

I have killed it a few times but I don't really understand what I am doing right. One thing is consistent though, obliterating its inner destructable wings completely always seem to work.

If someone knows the actual weakpoints etc. please share it lol

get the jetpack boosters on the wings, then the side parts, after that it will probably say its hurt or something, take a good break so it doesn't run, then try and spam attack it central parts, probably right below the giant halo sword or parts on his face
if not that the nukes on his tail

it only runs if you do damage to the body without destroying the wing jets if you destroy all the wingjets it wont run then destroy the body to kill it
