I'm using Linux and I'm playing the gog version. I suspected that since on Linux, files are case sensitive that could be causing the problem. Some of the filepaths have incorrect case-sensitivity that doesn't match. Changing this did not fix the problem. Adding .fbx to the end of the model filepaths in each of the xmls in /media/clothing/clothingItems (which is what I observed another clothing mod doing) didn't work either.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
The reason I was getting that vanilla backpack was because I was actually using the hydrocraft backpack and didn't even know it.
Is the backpack visible when wearing it or equipping it?
Are you on linux or windows?
