For NSC3 the new ships in the Biogenesis DLC are NOT updated. The plan is to update these ships for NSC3 Season 2. Biogenesis ships have been given equivalent buffs to compensate.

WARNING: Custom Ship sets that have not been updated to the current version of Stellaris 4.0 will Not Work.

The reason ship sets are not working in 4.0 is because of missing code that qualifies what kind of ships they are.

Also Note that ship sets that are showing as updated to 4.0 may not work if they are missing the lines of code required to make them work. I recommend that you Test the ship set by starting a game and looking to see if you have 3 corvettes in your starting fleet.
