I was thinking something like -50% reload speed but +20 damage and explodes when hitting ground also maybe if you hit an enemy twice it explodes?

Maybe a projectile that goes incredibly faster than a regular flare.Because it's Blunderbuss pistol.

"-100% Ammo" would be no Ammunition at all :D
But I like the direction it goes, less ammo/slower reload, but stronger shots. The idea with sped up flare by [2CV]Panos sounds pretty good to me.

Minicrits when enemy burning (standard flare gun)
+ 30 % Recoil when enemy burning
- 25% Damage
-20% Reload speed
+20% Projectile Speed
-50% Afterburn Damage
Stuns burning targets on hit
I think it should have a long distance spread. So it would be a long-range pyro shotgun.
Pros: 10 projectiles fired at once. Each projectile gets 13% regular flare damage(if all shots hit it does more).
Cons: 25% melee damage vulnerability while out. -15% reload speed.
Extra: Bullets start to spread after some amount of meters(would need to be tested).
Single shot shotgun.

+300% damage
Alt-Fire: fires a single projectile that does damage over long distances

-83% clip size (1 shot)
-Cannot get ammo from dispensers
-50% sencondary ammo on wearer
-25% accuracy
-100% reload speed

Flare Gun: Reduced reload speed, no afterburn, +50% damage, +50% increased ammo, -25% accuracy, Faster projectile +60%. Breaks on crit.

knockback on enemis hitted, +50% damange, -83% clip size, -15 health on wearer and -50% reload speed

Those are the most OP weapon stats that are potentially within reason i've ever seen.

Should be +50% damage, only 3 shots. Slower reload speed and firing speed. Also -10% health on wearer. Cannot get ammo from dispensers or ammo box. Reobtain ammo if one of the three shots hits enemy players.

Still more balanced than any of the crap that comes out of these stat discussions.

+Damage and afterburn rate increases with range
+50% flare speed

-Has less or even no afterburn if fired below range
-Longer reload
-Less ammo

I think that's pretty balanced.
