The wooden handle placement is very resemblant
The metal rings on the weapon itself is resemblant to the Cannon's
If this were a flintlock pistol, (where they can be as small as the flare guns) the barrel would be much, much shorter.
Thank you.
Shotgun animations would be glitchy.
Otherwise flare gun anims looks derpy on it
First things first, it aint a flintlock, its got some design features similar to one but has a hammer similar to the standard flare gun and is breech loaded. If you find hybrids between real blunderbusses and breechloading shotguns horrifyingly unrealistic then you're playing the wrong game.
Second point, yes it does have some similarities to the LC (dark/round barrel, wooden stock, metal strips). No, none of these make it a clone/rip off of the LC and all of them are due to it being a depiction of a fictional hybrid weapon from a similar time period/ or being from part of the design process (deciding what colors/shapes looked nice etc).
And lastly two designs being created from scratch and ending up with vague similarities does not make the later one a clone of the first one. Try to remember this before you post comments about item x being a copy of item y in the future.
