I know there wasn't update for quite a long time, anyway i always had several things in my backlog i wanted to implement and time off allowed me to come with new ideas how to improve the mod. Right now I dont know when exactly next update will be ready, anyway here is some preview what you can expect:

1. The way armies are acquired will change again - I will link number of armies to the number of capital regions player controls (walled cities), while certain edict will also provide additional army slot (mobilization)

2. Edicts wont be linked with Imperium anymore, but instead, every faction will have single edict available at the start, with more edicts accessible via promotion of characters into Level 6 and 7 (Governor or higher). Cursus Honorum requirements will be reworked to allow promotions a bit sooner than before.

3. Combat improvements, improved unit stats, weapon bonuses, reworked charge mechanics, improved cavalry, and lots of battle improvements..

4. Barbarian recruitment overhaul - to better simulate their "tribal" nature, recruitment slots will be now linked with towns instead of specific buildings. This will allow Barbarians to recruit more units, as long as they control more regions within province. To compensate, all Barbarian factions will have 50% cost increase to all units. At the same time, Barbarian Migration edict will also provide recruitment slot.
