Thralls --> Hunters
Pit Fighters --> Berserkers
Reavers --> Hunters
Shield Maidens --> Marauders
Huscarls --> Marauder Champions

I don't know, is there any planned new units yet?
what about Beast-masters, Ulfwerenar and Valkyrie?

Valkyries are difficult to do due to the wings. They would not be animated, so they would look bad. The other 2 are easier.

Here's a unit suggestion that was part of the norsca roster back in the day. The spellcaster Vitki. They are norscan healing spellcasters and don't blatantly serve the Ruinous Powers, they just help their fellow warriors.

maybe you could use harpyies (or other flying humanoids I am not aware of) as a base for that unit, in terms of bones, animations etc.

I like the idea of a healer for norscans. They could have a lot of use for it, since they are so melee focused

Thats a great suggestion. We got Fimir and Zoats and Vampire Coast, but no Vitki.

I think the easiest way to get new unit types is through diversifying the head and torso variants in other Troop Types. Harpy rigs might not be able to handle other meshes in the game, I think putting some Shield Maidens on chariots would be cool (shield maidens with bows even). Or some pit fighters on horses (berserkers on horseback would be, how the kids say, poggers)

I dont think anyone's ever tried it yet... but you might be able to put a Fimir head on a Zoat body. And make "Dragon Ogre" Fimir. Might be possible.
