3.7 Icons Update
http s://www .mediafire .com/file/z6t3l9nntibwa7m/37Frames .rar/file

As before, if you replace the technologies folder in your \steamapps\workshop\content\281990\2497748574\gfx\interface\icons folder with the one in this file, it should have all of the new techs properly framed.

I've also added the frames I used in the tech_templates folder in the mod as Tier1Frame - Tier5Frame.

For anyone who wants to do it on their own, and for my own reference as to the process in the future, it's a fairly straightforward process. The hardest parts are finding which are the new tech icons in the \steamapps\common\Stellaris\gfx\interface\icons\technologies folder, and figuring out the tiers for each new tech.

If you sort the icons folder by date, new techs should show up as the newest, and I found it easiest to copy all the new techs to their own temporary folder, and work on them from there.

Tiers can be determined by opening the text files for the relevant DLC in the \steamapps\common\Stellaris\common\technology folder. In this case, the techs were split between the Ancient Relics file and the First Contact file, but each technology's parameters are laid out in those text files, and the name of the icon will be the name of the text in the file, so it's easy to search for them, and the tier is one of the first things listed.

Once you have the icons, and know their tiers, actually altering the icons is fairly simple. I used GIMP, and had all 5 tier frame files open before opening the icon to be altered for ease of access.

Step 1: Open the icon you want to frame.
Step 2: Image Menu -> Canvas Size
Step 3: Change the size to 64px x 64px, and click the 'Center' button under Offset, then click OK. This should give you the icon with a blank space around it on all sides.
Step 4: Switch to the window of whichever tier frame matches the tier of the technology. Hit Ctrl-A to select all, then Ctrl-C to copy the frame.
Step 5: Switch back to the icon's window, and hit Ctrl-V to paste the frame, which should fit perfectly around the icon.
Step 6: File Menu, Export As, leave the name the same, and export it to the technologies folder in the mod folder. You can now close this file, don't bother saving it, and move on to the next one.

Replaced the technologies folder in workshop with this update and now the mod doesn't work. Icons don't have any border around them.
