[Story of what happened]
I worked on this mod (and rimworld modding in general) when i was in my college days few years ago, but few months after my last update i graduated, my dad passed away and then i have to work to support my family of 4. So every week is pretty hectic and i'm spending all of my holidays to rest and play games, still the same routine until now. So until things gets better i cant get back to modding.

[Future updates?]
I do still want to update this mod and i have some more ideas of what to improve and what to add, and if i ever have the resources (time and motivation) i'll make a remake of this mod, completely fresh and new format. But there's still a lot of limitation from the game itself regarding turret mechanics, thats also one of the reason why i stopped.

BUT i'd say no to money, i'm very much in a need for extra money for my family, so if you have any job/commission opportunities please contact me on discord (Faryzal2020#3213).
I can do basic rimworld xml modding and a bit of sprite drawing and sound effect fabricating.

Sorry to hear that things have been so rough for you Fary, and my deepest condolences for the loss of your father. I hope things steadily improve for you and your family, and just because it always needs to be said; Don't be afraid to seek professional help if your'e struggling, there's no shame in therapy. Hopefully your country has some resources for you to get access to it without having to open your wallet.

How much would it cost for you to update this mod to 1.4 even if you just leave it there going-forward? This mod is outstanding as-is, and the game feels incomplete without it. "Defensive Machine Gun Turret Pack" and "[SRTS Expanded] Aircrafts and Bombs" help fill the void left without this mod quite a bit, but still, nothing's as satisfying as launching a triple-salvo of 152 or 155mm rounds at an incoming horde, and seeing them in your colony just feels impressive in a way nothing else compares to.

As for the funding, i'd accept any amount as long as its enough for me to buy some food for a day. I just dont want to make it look like im making profit off of this mod, so i really not sure how to decide how much for the "cost" of an update, as for time cost i think it'd take my entire weekend, the fix for it to not broken in the new version is easy i think, but a proper fix would require more checking.

I'd really give some help if needed i really have an obsession for cannons and stuff like that so mods like those are always a fresh gust of wind for me i hope everything turns for the better my friend hope to see you back on track :)

Hi everyone, just to announce that i'm currently in the process of updating the mod.
Stats rebalancing is for the most part, but i'm also planning to do a texture makeover by commissioning an artist. I'll not release the update until everything is done, probably in a month or so.
also theres a new turret(s?)
But i will be focusing on the CE version first because it's the most complicated one.
