A Season of Rivals: Features Overview + SPOILERS
If you want even more specific information on what this mod adds, you will find it here. Note that this will spoil the finer mechanics of the mod, which are intended to surprise you in very nasty ways! Read further with this in mind.

A SEASON OF RIVALS: OVERVIEW
  • Spontaneous Rival Generation - If you have at least four Disciples on the board and no existing Rival, there is a 2% chance every minute that the Time Verb will spit out a recipe that magnets one of your Disciples and causes them to rebel. This can only happen twice per run.
  • New Rival Action (Theft) - A rival will attempt to steal an item with the Auctionable aspect. If you have a Snare, you can possibly deter their burglary and harm them in the process. Otherwise, they will steal a random item possessing this aspect and use it to gain progress towards their own ascension. Your rival may also injure you in the process of breaking-in.
  • New Rival Action (Kidnapping) - A rival will magnet one of your followers for purposes of mortal sacrifice. Once someone is snatched up, you will have the chance to dispatch a follower possessing either Edge, Forge, Moth, or Winter to foil the kidnapping - the stronger, the better. Failure to prevent a kidnapping will kill the follower and give your rival an ascension mark.
  • New Rival Action (Summoning) - A rival will attempt to loose a dangerous spirit upon you and your followers. If you can provide a Lantern or Knock influence - the stronger, the better - you will be able to disrupt their schemes in the Mansus. Otherwise, a random hostile spirit (Teresa and both Risen are excluded) will come after you or your followers. If the spirit possesses the Devourer aspect, it will injure health or attempt to kill a follower; If the spirit possesses the Deceiver aspect, it will destroy Reason/Passion or attempt to turn a follower into a lunatic.
  • Counteroffensive Measures - If you summon a spirit with the Devourer aspect, you can speak to it and dispatch it against your rival. Spirits with 8 of the Devourer aspect will have a 30% chance to succeed in scarring your rival; 10 will have a 70% chance; 12 is a 90% chance. Irrespective of failure or success in this attack, the spirit you send will always be destroyed at the end.
ADDITIONAL TIPS
Snares don't work the way you think in Cultist Simulator. A Disciple, despite their ability to create an 'Adequate Snare', will produce Snares that only succeed 30% of the time!

If you want to make more reliable snares and can't get Edge, Forge, Moth or Winter Exalts, raise an appropriate follower to at least 7 of their related aspect. You can either scar them, or gift them a Tool with at least 8 of the follower's related aspect. This will gives you Snares that succeed 70% of the time.

I summoned a percussigant but i cant figure out how to send it to attack the rival
talking to it and using rival as subject is doing nothing

Do you have Apostle Laetatus or other mods enabled? This mod will work with Season of Suspicions (and Betrayer's Map), but Apostle Laetatus is something that will disable the ability to attack Rivals with summoned creatures.

Do you have Apostle Laetatus or other mods enabled? This mod will work with Season of Suspicions (and Betrayer's Map), but Apostle Laetatus is something that will disable the ability to attack Rivals with summoned creatures.
aha that was it thank you, i disabled AL and it works
