For anyone who hasn't tried it already, this mod DOES work in multiplayer. I use it all the time when hosting games with groups of friends.

Do note that this mod is, however, several years old, and as such, the description when it was written says "currently singleplayer only". He likely just updated it and never bothered with the description.
