Bug/feature? Can raiders loot your base while gone?
Before I say anything - I love this mod thank you so much for continuing it.

That being said I had something very strange happen that might not even pertain to this mod, but here goes. Short version: Can raiders raid your base while you're gone? Even if you don't have it set as your base?

Long version:

Been surviving a month or two in Eerie County, living in the hunting lodge. I hit the local small town, then go up to the vanilla maps. Rosewood and such. I'm holed up in the police station in that rural town-that-isn't-a-town when my game crashes. I reload my game and I'm still in the police station, but everything IN the station is duplicated. I had grabbed a Glock 18 from the locker, now there's one still in there despite holding the G18. Same with the MP5SD. I think its weird and move on. I go back to my base (after not being home for what was a week or two at this point) and find the entire house has been reset as if it was a new game. Well that's quite the kick in the pants as I had mountains of guns, ammo, canned food, rare swat gear. Even the crops were gone. No big deal, luckily I had a backup of my game just before the crash. I reload that one, no duplicated items in the police station. Swell.

I go back to my base, to find a single *non hostile* raider just casually walking out of my house like nothing was going on. And I mean raider, ski mask hoodie and all. Executed them, as one does, I go into the house to find it had *almost* reset like a new game - again all my stuff is still gone but I have a broken window at the kitchen. And there was a zombie in the bathroom, but the broken window just stuck out to me more.

At this point I assume ahh geez the entire map reset what a bummer. I go back into the tiny tony that's in Eerie County that I've already hit, go right into the police station... left the same way I left it?

So the non hostile raider, with a broken window, would lead me to believe its a clever mechanic of the mod that if you're gone from your house for too long, and without guards, raiders will steal your stuff in the form of resetting the building you're in. But my base wasn't marked my base sooo..

IF THAT ISN'T THE CASE - Then I've just experienced a very odd crash where the only thing effected *was my gosh darn base.*

I'm not mad by the experience I just want to know if this a mod feature because then I will have survivors join my 'group' and guard my house even though I'd prefer to be alone.

Yes my doors were locked, I lock them despite the fact I've seen raiders walk through them as if they weren't there at all. (Curiously the door was then showing as unlocked at that point even though it was still closed and I was absolutely certain I had locked the door that night). I checked google and the old Super Survivors and Superb Survivors mod pages and couldn't find any mention if this is a feature so figure heck I'll just try here.

Thanks for reading this novel.

That's a pretty wild story, but I think it's just your save bugging out somehow from the crash. PZ only actually simulates your immediate surroundings at any given time, so it's difficult to have things happen to your base while you're away even if I wanted to. Raids are targeted around the player, not the base specifically.

Ah that makes sense, thank you for the reply and explanation!
