6/22/21 Update: Fixed some really annoying problems that caused me to have to redo a bunch of buildings. Note to self; always restart WorldEd if importing new tiles. Anyway, there's now a junkyard and 2 blocks worth of Mentone to look around at.
6/22/21 9:11pm Update: Added the "Man Camp", a bunch of barracks north west of Mentone. Still have a lot of furnishing to do.
6/28/21 1:42AM Update: Added a school and a couple houses to Mentone, as well as a little park by the school. Set Up Basement Areas OWO But still working on basement code. Gotta furnish a lot of the man camp buildings, and flesh out the rest of mentone soon here, but yeah, slight update.
6/29/21 4:44PM Update: Thanks to Aiteron, we now have basements. I have included 4 such basements in this update. I also continued expanding the river and south highway -- still need to furnish buildings but now I'm so stoked about basements I've been working on that for a bit. Expect another update tonight.
6/29/21 10:36PM Update: Begun construction of the Platues south of Mentone.
6/30/21 6:06PM Update: Added new cliff tiles for the mountain face, added a little campground, bar and trailer near the Coyote River. Basement in the bar, and a secret tunnel that leads nowhere in particular yet ;)
07/04/21 6:19 PM Update: You can now run over cacti with your cars. More cars spawn in Mentone, changed the spawns so that you can choose to spawn in either Mentone, the Trailer Park, or the Riverside camp. Added some gravel dirt tiles to the ground in some areas.
07/05/21 10:30PM Update: Added more to Mentone, including a grocery store, several homes, and a hardware store. Also did some more terraforming, including plotting out where the mountains and river will go. (as well as a really cool mountain pass I can't wait to build X_X) OH! Most importantly, I've begun working on the radio story. You'll find a bunch of empty stations that don't play anything right now, but soon the world will be filled with chatter (AND MUSIC) Check out KAKT, Kaktus Radio in game to hear some stoner rock hits played by DJ DONNY DEATH.
07/06/21 5:18PM UPDATE: Added more cars and wrecks to Mentone and the trailer park area! Did some more zoning -- added nav zones, town zones and trailer park zones. Added a longboi highway that goes nowhere to the east if you fancy a long pointless drive through the desert. And finally... Added The Big Empty Radio, which plays 30 tracks from Fallout New Vegas's Radio all day long! :D Plz enjoy.
07/06/21 7:11 PM HOTFIX: Removed the Waterflow and Waterzones by the river since they were causing FPS issues.
07/06/21 11:09PM UPDATE: For those who've been asking -- I've attached the map to the vanilla. It's a 17 mile trip, with no services. You can enable this mode by using the "Road Trip to Araxas" sub mod... but it will disable basements and the custom radio for the time being. I eventually plan on redoing the connecting map so it looks nicer, but it's 60 cells in length, so give me time to do that. Additionally, I won't be focusing too much on updating that version of the mod itself, but I digress. Enjoy your lonnnnnnnnnnnng road trip to or from Araxas. (CONNECTED BY THE HIGHWAY NEAR MARCH RIDGE THEREFORE INCOMPATIBLE WITH OTHER MAPS THAT USE THAT AREA)
07/07/21 3:03 AM HOTFIX: Made the road to araxas not ugly -- except for where it meets the highway near march ridge X_X but, I'm not ever gonna fix that so you'll just have to deal with it. *ahem* Anyway, There's also now 2 gas stations along the way just in case! Pro Tip, slow down at the bridge unless you want to be ejected from your vehicle :P Also, had to remove the spawn points in Araxas for that mode -- they'll be working there way back in eventually, but for now you'll just have to make the trek there if you wanna see it from the vanilla map.
7/09/21 4:16 AM UPDATE: I friggen stayed up all night... what's wrong with me. my sleeping schedule is seriously messed up... uh anyway, I finished the MAN CAMP! An area with a large zed population but high reward -- you can also spawn there if you'd like. Added better descriptions for each of the spawn points and began working towards adding a story mode ;)
07/14/21 6:27 AM UPDATE: Started working on Garden City; it's bigger than mentone now, and you can check it out if you want; be aware that it is still incomplete. I also threw in a sort of Challenge Map; The Ghost Town.
07/14/21 5:27PM UPDATE: Added INFINITE DUST STORM MODE (will be tweaking later so it varies in intensity) Enable as a sub mod for extra ambience -- will also work on the vanilla maps as well.
7/15/21 12:01AM UPDATE: There are now two versions of dust storms. Infinite and Moderate. Moderate will periodically happen whereas Infinite will just be infinite balls to the walls wind and dust.
07/19/21 1:16 AM Update: Added some more to Garden City, decided to make the mountains black voids of despair for now till I figure them out more aesthetically and the cutaways proper. Reintroduced the Moderate and or Evolving Dust Storm. There's a 20% Chance for a dust storm any given day with Evolving mode selected.
07/16/21 5PM Update -- Had to remove the moderate dust storm mode for now since an error was popping up; Infinite is still there though (it's not as good), anyway... Turned the Ghost Town Map into a proper challenge map! Try it out, how long can you last?
07/16/21 8:00PM Hotfix -- Turned on zombie respawn cuz Xep is brutal.
07/1721 10:52 Update: Added some more stuff to the ghost town challenge! I hope you like mountainous terrain filled with zombies and sketchy cutaway systems.
