ALLOS' Mapping & Modelling - Do's and Don'ts
Hello there! If you are reading this, you have just attempted to ask me to make a map of something for you. Or maybe a model. This discussion post will give you a comprehensive guide of what sorts of things you can ask of me, what things you can't ask for, and so on and so forth. Please read thoroughly before attempting to resume the comment thread with me you were just redirected from.

- I mainly make maps of man-made sorts of areas; buildings, building interiors, structures, and large transport vehicles. Natural areas are not my forte--outdoor locations, locations taking place heavily out in a natural zone with little to no structures. (As example, most of my maps that have significant outdoor portions are very flat in structure--rp_mysteryshack is like a Mario Maker 2 level, Sandship is in an infinite ocean, Canterlot High is on a flat endless plane)

- Stemming from that last note, asking me to make a largely nature-based area is a mistake in it of itself; imagine going to a McDonald's and asking the cashier to make you a pasta dish. (Like, the cashier specifically, not even the cook.) Even if I could output such an area, quality is definitely not guaranteed.

- Also note that I do not port assets myself, I only recreate them from scratch. (Though, if someone has ported a game model to a model format such as .OBJ or a Blender file, I can possibly get it the rest of the way to working in Source. This footnote is still experimental.)

- If I am not already planning or have general plans to make the thing it is you're asking for, you will have to commission me to make it--that's with real money, USD, via either PayPal or Ko-Fi. (My Ko-Fi link is placed at the bottom of every description I write, you have no excuse to say you didn't notice it) (Also if you don't know what Ko-Fi is, it's like a digital tipjar--think Patreon, but less fancy) Prices are based entirely on what it is you're asking of me--the more complex it is, the more expensive it will be. Likewise, if it is a simple request, it will not cost very much. (Apart from currency exchange from other main currencies, of course, no other currencies or trades are accepted for this. No deviantART points, Steam game purchases, Robux or Tix.)

- Please do keep in mind that I am not a team of people at work, I am a single dude with the budget of a peanut vendor. (That is to say, not a very high budget at all) I can only do so much work and only so quickly, and the more work there is, the longer it will take me to do it. Can only do so much at once, as well. If you do actually end up ordering me to make something, please have patience as you wait for it to be completed.

- If conditions are met where I absolutely cannot do whatever it is you're asking of me, do not think that asking me repeatedly or saying nice things to me will magically convince me otherwise; words of pleading or compliment cannot change fact.

- I also have other projects I am usually working on initiated by myself--I do not just have all the free time to do absolutely everything I am asked of. In the words of Studson Studio, I would perish before having the time to do absolutely everything I'm asked of.

TL;DR
- I mainly make maps of artificial places, no nature here
- If I try to make big nature it's gonna look bad
- I don't do full ports of game assets
- I do commissions, which take real money only
- I'm one dude with a low work budget
- If I say 'no' it means 'No'
- I'm working on other things too, you know

As long as you understand everything here, you may now resume the conversation we were just in. (But if any one of these notes is irrevocably incompatible with you, I advise you drop the conversation to save yourself the time and an awkward follow-up)
