So it is more accurate, with more pellets, and less damge? this cancels out a little. Also, 30% increased fire speed, 10% slower firing speed? Mabe just leave it as 30 % firing speed, 50 % increase to accuracy, and 20 % damage penalty?

Plus 20 pellets per round is more than a 200% damage increase. Just no.

It looks too big and sick to have a lower damage.
Maybe -30% accuracy and +15% more damage?

Slower reload time makes sense; looks like the reload animation would need to be slower; unscrewing it and whatnot.

+100% Magazine Size (cause' barrels look about the same size as stock scatter barrels)
+25% Firing Speed
-10% Reload Time

-20% Damage
-10% Speed
-1 Capture Rate

I think this is balanced in my opinion

Probably a scattergun reskin with cosmetic blue text that says "This... is... my... DOOMSTICK!"

The downside of reduced capture rate and speed and a petty damage down is nothing compared to the damage per second it offers. The 12 shots and fire rate easily makes up for the -20% damage in almost every way except for single shots. The capture rate down can be ignored by playing arena or capture the flag where you don't need capture rates. The speed down is interesting because it is an actual downside that can't be ignored by the massive upsides as it makes scooting painful But scooting around with a shotgun is what scouts do... I don't know man, it could be interesting with some proper downsides.

Actually
the intention is for the scout to focus more on defense rather than offence

the problem is that scouts have pretty aggressive play styles and it would be easy to counter all this with a conchorer speed buff or a disciplinary action speed buff (even though they arent permanent ((also think about that thing with a crit a cola increased move speed and increased damage... ouch))
Illang - Stray Dog 27 Apr, 2014 @ 12:17am
Why not more Ammo carried / Ammo per Reload e_e?
[TR]FDBAD 27 Apr, 2014 @ 4:44am
Good but dont forget; scout's ability is running fast. Don't reduce it. For exp: using the winger while baby face's blaster equipped is smt like after ypur 2 bullets hit an enemy, you're like lightning

3or 4;;,,;,;, I always play in %100 crits so it could be wrong xDD

Good point but some classes, such as the pyro, even though they are on the offenssive (not sure if i spelled it right) act more like a defensive class and the scout can be a good candidate for being a deffensive class but idk valve doesnt even se the community made stats and come up with their own :P
