Gatling Gun Turret from VFE-Settlers could use basic components, it's supposed to be a pretty old weapons system between medieval and industrial, likewise for the handheld variant.

I would also suggest electric smelter and electric stove use basic components so there are more reasons to manufacture these things, plus they are pretty basic mechanisms used to control heat more or less

Ideoligion loudspeakers, and autodoors also make a nice candidate, since they are pretty basic electronically

A patch for Kit's gunpowder weapons would be nice, and honestly basic components would make more sense for most if not all industrial weapons than industrial components since they dont contain electronics, the "mechanized armor" mod could use a patch for both Basic Components and Expanded Materials-Metals since it uses gold but bronze would probably be more fitting

I could add them to a default list, but remember that now you can manually select the defs that will use basic components instead. Check the mod options.

Could be because Im using 1.2(I see no point updating since I cant afford Ideology).

Additionally I've thought of alternative recipes for industrial components while using Expanded Materials-Metals, such as versions using (silicon source)+(carbon source), tin, carbon, (copper, tin, silver, iron, or lead)+(coal or other sulfur source), titanium, (extra)copper, uranium, iron, instead of Germanium

I suggested the Germanium alternatives mainly for variety but also because it's not always available

So, CE Ammo doesn’t seem to show up in the config options. Realistically all ammo or mortar shells only need basic components except EMP ammo/shells/grenades

They don't? hmmm... maybe try loading this mod after CE
