am i doing something wrong?
So i have done a few tests over the last few days and i have not been able to see any change in the performance. Am i doing something wrong? My tests have been starting up a huge galaxy and going into observer and using fast_forward to get it to around 2300 - 2400 time range. So far the lag starts around 2300 not much just allot of stutter on the 1st of a month. just a second but it gets worse faster and faster. By 2400 the game is not playable. I watch my system resources and i have a I9 9900K that seems like its not even sweating but if i look at each core CPU8 is maxed out by 2300.

so am i right to understand i need all these mods? Also does the order matter? Finally is there something i need to do in the mod settings im not doing? Im just trying to get a good game that i can actually finish without needing to go with a tiny galaxy. Right when things start getting interesting the game becomes too slow or stuttery to be fun. Its been ages since i was able to actually play till the crisis and not have to quite because it was too laggy to bother doing.

Hopefully the author confirms, but I think it is your load order...it should be Core Framework>UI Overhaul>Dark Blue Overhaul>Dark Blue Planet Interface>Gigas>PR>Gigas Patch

ok i have reordered them to that and am running another test. We will see if that is the problem. In one test i though i had fixed it somewhat because i was fastforwarded to 2500 but after looking around i found out it was running okish only because the empire that had half the map had blown up most of the planets in its space :/ well thats one way out of the problem. Just go full thanos

Giga has added some strange stuff like self respawned crisis thing. Disable them may solved the problem, and PR only solve the problem of pop. It has nothing to do with other things that caused lag problem.

so i tried the load order above and shrunk the galaxy to large but its still to laggy bast late 2300. I am unable to get to the speed you have in your video. i have to be doing something wrong. i even removed giga and no real change.

Are you using any galaxy beautification mods? I find that unless you are all the way zoomed out, or viewing inside a solar system, the graphic effects will lag your game out immensely because of how detailed the galaxy is, plus moving particle effects, etc. Try seeing how fast the game ticks when viewing inside a solar system.
Also, the mod speeds things up but doesn't perform miracles, a crowded galaxy will still lag...I have mine on huge with 15 AI empires and habitable planets at 0.25 and it seems to run great well past mid game (haven't reached end-game yet).

I have a similar problem. Do you have found a solution for yours?

I'm having the exact same issue. Funny thing is it only lagged when I updated to 3.1. Version before 3.0, no problem completing the game in medium size and above. I stopped playing at 3.1 going to update to 3.2 and report back.

During 3.1, I removed all mods except prod revolution and required mods. Still lags mid game onwards. Could be game issue?

Hi, for some reason. Since 3.9 update. My research jobs have stopped. I have research labs but they show no production and no jobs. (the specialists are jobless)
Any idea what can cause this?
