Yeah, that's true.
Here's 2 dumb ideas:
-You should add space technology for the late game
-Spy support company - wich will go to the field and tell information about the enemy's plan but this would be lame because there is signal company.
2.It can't because stats of spy can't used in division.
Thank you for new idea.
The German signal tank squad prove effectively if division squad has it against Soviet Union in 1941-1943.
>an ode to Atlantic Wall and Pacific Theater<
-Pros-
* massive bonus for defending against naval invasions
* small bonus for defending against river crossings
* added bonus for being on a tile with a fort
* has some median of piercing between support AT & support AA
-Cons-
* huge negative bonus for attacking in all terrains
* production cost is more than normal artillery
* uses more man power/ artillery (maybe 25% more?) than normal artillery
* vulnerable to cas (gets a debuff for enemy cas/ air superiority)
* extremely slow movement speed

Light/ Mountain Artillery (support company/ line Battalion)
>an ode to German & Japanese mountaineer tactics<
-Pros-
* half the production cost/ man power of normal artillery
* slightly faster movement speed than normal artillery
* attack/defend bonus for hill/ mountains
* able to para
-Cons-
* not as good as normal artillery
___________________________________________________________
Bicycle Anti Tank (line battalion)
>an ode to Dutch & Italian tactics<
-Pros-
* super cheap
* faster than normal AT
* able to para
-Cons-
* worse piercing than AT 1 & AA 1
* it's a bicycle....

Make Bicycles able to Para
>an ode to UK airborne troops using bicycles often<
-Pros-
* faster than infantry
-Cons-
* its a bicycle...

Airborne Light Tanks (LT) & Armored Cars (AC) (support Company only)
>an ode to the US M22 Locus & US Jeeps dropped in Gliders<
-Pros-
* add armor to para divs
* add recon to para divs
* better stats than LT 1 & AC 1
-Cons-
* worse stats than LT 2 & AC 2
The stats should not be too good, maybe between tier 1 & 2 so its better than tier 1 but worse than tier 2; speed & piercing should be the same as the base tech. Make them researchable after LT 2, AC 2, and Airborne 2 are all researched. Also, have them as a tabs on LT 2 & AC 2 just like Light Tank AA/SPG/AT and Armored Car 3 AT.

Motorized Airborne (line Battalion)
>an ode to Airborne troops fighting as normal infantry late WW2<
-Pros-
* MOTORIZED AIRBORNE
* stats are some median between Airborne & Motorized
-Cons-
* the very last airborne tech
* requires Mechanized 1
* stats are equal to Motorized after Mechanized 1 is researched; does not receive mechanized stats
