While alienpowercells aren't exactly rare (if you know what you are looking for) finding them depends on you looking for them, which limits the amount available.
And also they don't have "bad ai" they have barotruma ai, so if they are messing up report that to them. (again I ask that genuinely, barotruma could really use better ai) I quite literally can't code the ai. I wish I could, id have the preds wait to strike while lying in wait, do hit and runs, make it so they can shoot when at range but then swap to melee up close..the things I'd do if I could write ai. Imagine what I'd make my xenomorphs could do?
as for the them being squishy, They have armored bodies like the npcs in cites do, and base ones have 280 hp which a bone thresher has 300 (with no armor), ill run some tests to see whats going on with the hp, they shouldn't be squishy. And ill boost their hp, if I can.
I'm looking into the bomb knives right now so ill test and then either update them or give information on how to use them. If I made them to difficult to use I apologize, and will make them easier to use.
Oh and this is why I made sections, to well avoid have discussions here. as well as to be able to post proof in discussions

Ah I understand the issue now, Ill update it to deconstruct into empty versions of those or rather ill have ti copy the condition of the ammo when its deconstructed
