Adding more Squad Icons
Regarding how to use some of the existing mods in the workshop that add more squad icons, I have not tested them, but should be able to make them work by doing some ini file copy/pasting:

1) Subscribe to the mod(s) that add the squad icons

2) Look for entries in the .ini files (which reside in the Config folder) of the mod(s) that add the squad icons. Those are lines that start like this:
+SquadImagePaths=blahblahblah"

3) Copy and paste all such lines at the end of the XComSquadManager.ini file in Squad Manager mod's Config folder.

3) Profit??

not working (theroretically) because the files are afterwards missing

[SquadManager.UIPersonnel_SquadBarracks]
+SquadImagePaths="img:///UILibrary_SquadManager.SampleSquadIcons.SquadIcon0"

than you have to copy the images as well.

@Zorbakaq: I didn't make any new icons, sorry. Just reused what LWOTC already had

@General Disarray i think zorbakaq meant a bit more in-depth of what you needed to get the icons to work.

There really isn't all that much to it...
Find ICON mod on workshop ... sub to it

ICON mod is likely a vanilla mod "for LW2" so you will need to reasonably ignore the dependencies .. and use the AML (vanilla mods refuse to work in WOTC without the AML)

got to the ICON mod and open the \Config\XComLW_Content.ini

copy everything under the
[LW_Overhaul.UIPersonnel_SquadBarracks]

which should look like +SquadImagePaths="blahblahblah"

open THIS mods \Config\XComSquadManager.ini and paste everything (at the bottom of other entries) under the
[SquadManager.UIPersonnel_SquadBarracks]

save the config!

ensure ICON mod is enabled (ignore warnings within reason) ... ensure THIS mod is enabled

if you wish to not flood your mod list you can also transfer the upk from the content folder of the mod whose icons you wish to use into the content folder of squad manager which would avoid the errors. Thank you to the great folks on the XCOM2Modding Discord for helping me through this yesterday. You guys rock.

hm, ill post it here, not to blow an new discussion- ill did copy past ini textes- trhice checked, and upks, but didnt get it to work with the NEW VERSION, which actually benefit squads, etc. intended or am i to blonde- :D?

Edit: my bad, sorry! reading is power, got the second ini entry where it says, put them HERE......working....shame on my haircolour.
