This map is sweet. I only want to suggest that in Victory Point mode , to leave 1 flag in the center island and the other 2 just across the flooded paths so there can be a continuous push and pull of the combat.
Also the entry points of the flooded paths could be widened a bit as the AI seems to get stuck there all the time.
Thank you.
Check out V1 of this map.....it is as you describe, but with bridges instead of flooded paths.
We made this version specifically to have all 3 VP's on center island...like some of our "islands" maps....but after our first test we found that the bridges "got in the way" of a good battle, so changed them to flooded crossings.
As for the crossings, Y, we see the AI getting stuck there too.....we usually just shoot them till they "go away" and the path is clear again ;-) BUUUUUT since that is the lazy man's out (much like Steam/Valve's "did you check your video card drivers.... we insist it is your system and thus, is NOT our problem" attitude) we'll look into widening the paths and/or modifying the way the AI responds to those paths (I believe we can, but I have not learned how.....yet!) ....till then, we find that mixing the friendly fire option along with rebuilding the top or bottom bridges enough to get the AI out of the way.....with the added benefit of freaking out your opponent AI's, which leaves the center open for exploitation.
Besides shooting the beejesus out of the AI is fun after all.
Keep up the good work !
Then again, I have played with some humans who cannot figure it out either
