Modding Turrets on models.
Ships files are found in there corresponding folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starpoint Gemini 2\Spg2\Models\Ships

Back up the ship folder you wish to edit and save it to a safe location.


1. Open up Material Editor found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starpoint Gemini 2

2. Load Assembly (.asb file) of the ship you want to edit. This loads the model.

3. Click on Ship Editor and then Load Ship Submenu. Select the ship file (.shp) you wish to edit. This will load the turrets.

4. From here you have options to add turrets and remove turrets(submenu). Select the option you wish to do.

Adding Turrets:

They will spawn at origin point (0.0, 0.0, 0.0). Use cntrl and RMB to move the turret in space, change view to move in 3D space.

Select which battery you wish it to be apart of. Its scale and firing arc.

Tip: When adding turrents, look at the turrent properities of another turrent on the same battery for starting rotation, then tweak as nessacary.

Removing Turrents:

Pretty Easy. Select the turrent from the menu (highlights red) and then delete. Use the up and down scroll buttons to see all turrets.

Remember order is Left Right Front Rear.
