Underground divine microdungeons.
I noticed that the divine planet somewhat already has microdungeons. But strangely, they're the generic/vanilla mineshaft microdungeons, which feels out of place on the planet.
Spirits as local wildlife
If the planet is the afterlife, then I feel that it would be appropriate for the planet to be populated with the spirits of the dead flying around, some friendly, some hostile. Maybe they could drop their souls as material... or even as fuel.
A divine equivalent to the Erchius Ghost
I feel that it is too easy to harvest Sanctilite & other ores in large amounts. Plus it would be appropriate to be hunted down by a some sort of angelic guardian for stealing holy materials from heaven.
Sub-biomes
Just something to add variety to each planet & encourage exploration. Something like:
-a storm cloud sub-biome (electric variant)
-a snow cloud sub-biome (ice variant)
-a smoke cloud sub-biome (fire variant)
-a smog cloud sub-biome (toxic variant)
-a prismatic/rainbow sub-biome
-a floating island sub-biome
The closest you'll get to that is that I have a planned "entity" you can meet who may give you unique quests. But it isn't a story line or endgame-like quests. Sorry!
I have a lot on my plate at the moment, but anyone else has permission to do this.
