Update for Reforged Eden (Build test 4):
  • Updated starter moons of the default starter planets with Reforged versions. Mission should work now for them.
  • Fixed localization bug for Cultist Crossbow.
  • Updated scenario build number.


Updated for Reforged Galaxy V1.5-82:

Bugfixes mostly.

  • Added new variants of Zirax Ships (varying weapons, armor, shields) to the existing groups to bias the chance of getting lower-level ships instead of Toveras in every playfield 1/4 of the time (New ratio is 1:12).
  • Added new Ghyst Space POIs to the playfield spawns.
  • Increased the Range and Radius of CV Mechanical Drills since there seems to be an occasional clipping issue with the model and the minimum impact range of the drill (The firing location for the "weapon" is further back than it should be)
  • Removed parent block designation for Walkway blocks to prevent unusual illegal blueprints when the game gets confused. These blocks are old and outdated and prone to being just weird.
  • Fixed Localization Problem by using an entirely new localization file and spending a very long time customizing it.
    The cause for the breakage was a section of vanilla localization (which had never been touched by me) that had somehow gotten corrupted but wasn't being detected as an issue by the game.
  • Hid the NPC drone ammo that's also visible in vanilla (c'mon guys...)
  • Updated Icons for Texture and Color Tool, as well as both Submachine Guns and the Crossbow.
  • Fixed missing factors on ore yield for Platinum and Aluminium.
  • Added Power Coils to QuantumSTAR traders.

Update for Project Eden/Reforged Eden (test 5):
  • Fixed flickering posters.
  • Removed drones from spawn area on Ocean starter.
  • Added Reforged Galaxy asset bundle.
  • Added copies of Eden prefabs to Reforged spawn groups for Reforged Eden integration.
  • Added decals to some POIs.


Reforged Galaxy v1.5-83
Visual Overhaul (All credits go to Ravien)
  • Complete visual overhaul of higher level weapon firing effects.
    This is a much-needed change since now you can tell the difference between an EMP shell and a Plasma ball.
    Note: Just because you see big energy beams or scattershot, doesn't mean it's hitting you more than once. Purely visual... and eventually will have specialized audio to match.
    Also applies to a number of lower level weapons like the Railgun, Plasma Rifle, etc...
  • Swamp Starter no longer has drones spawning in the start zone; they are now 500m away. Believe it or not, this ridiculous setting is actually from VANILLA. Yes, you'll get this drone in the start zone in vanilla too.
    At least now, you'll be able to see them and avoid them.
  • Separated Zirax Heavy Plasma Turret from the Player's version in terms of firing. It does less damage, but fires faster and includes a fancy projectile and everything.
  • CV Flak Turrets now fire a visible projectile (was missing for a while)
  • Bugfixes
  • Added new Ghyst Shipyards to spawns. Displaces old versions.

Major update to Reforged Eden: (build 1)
Project Eden has received a massive space content update.
Reforged Galaxy has received a massive content update.
Numerous fixes to the merging of both scenarios in Reforged Eden.

A new save game is REQUIRED for this update.
If you were testing the scenario please start a new save game to make sure you have all the current fixes.
You may subscribe to and start a new save game using this version of the scenario, or keep playing your old save games in the old version of the scenario.
Direct transferring of player data from an old save is not recommended due to changes in blocks and items.

If you are starting a new save game, OR installing the scenario on your server, please make sure Steam has downloaded the update to your PC before doing so.
Servers: Don't forget to subscribe to and use the Project Eden Admin Control to set up scenario specific options for your server. You will need admin access to use.

After starting a new game please you can select the Alpha star in the galaxy map, open the info panel and make sure in its description it says your save game was started using build 1 of the scenario. If it mentions a test build instead then you won't get all the fixes to the scenario and that can cause problems with missions, etc.

  • Increased speed of patrol vessels and freighters in hot system orbits and asteroid fields.
  • Added custom projectile to SV lasers to attempt to fix a bug with them not firing where you aim.

  • Updated Reforged Galaxy asset bundle.

Hotfix

Minor fix for Foundation Blocks and a broken trader.

Reforged Galaxy v1.5-84
Hotfix
  • Update to Asset Bundle to include new laser effects for HV/SV fixed Laser Cannons that would fire to weird locations using Eleon's projectile models.
  • Updated Tovera, Eradicator and Infector prefabs with a minor change to their EMP shockwaves that should reduce their too-early firing. Doesn't matter if you've already started a new game.
    Reduced Tovera's EMP emitters from 5 to 3.
  • Assigned new projectiles to small turrets (won't matter for anyone since these aren't available or used by enemies yet)
    Dark Matter Turret which IS used by Tesch now has an awesome visual effect and unique stats.
  • Fixed Russian Localization bug
  • Renamed Heavy Rocket Launcher (CV) to Multiple Rocket Launcher to avoid confusion with Heavy Weapons that require upgrade kits. (MRL does not require kits)
  • Added missing icons to Large Cargo Container and Large Harvest Container for HV/SV that were missing.
  • Minor change to Submachine Gun icons to reduce the dark lines around the barrel of the gun.

Hotfix update for Project Eden: (no build change)
  • Fixed factionless civilian outpost on Barren and EdenHubBarren planet. Now set to Colonists.
  • Removed thick asteroid field from Polaris mining sites to stop Mining Foreman from being buried in rock.
  • Bolter rounds: reduced mass from 5 to 1.4. Reduced volume from 3 to 0.75.
  • Added usable small constructor to Colonists T1 mining mission ships so you can use them to craft a hematite ore shipment if your own ship doesn't have a constructor or room to.
  • Replaced old SV/HV cargo boxes in PentaCorp Station.
  • Added new class 4 SV combat site to hot systems.
  • Fixed Epsilon VI not counting for Survey Epsilon System mission.
  • Updated PlanetType of Legacy Asteroid fields for integration with a Reforged Galaxy feature.
  • Disallowed spawning bases in SV only sites.

Hotfixes for Reforged Galaxy:

Reforged Galaxy V1.5-87
  • Hotfix to prevent errors being caused by the functioning space attack system (which has decided to start working)
  • Attempt to fix eleon's bumbling that has broken space drones. Unlikely to work.
  • Added Legacy interception at the legacy homeworld. Also not functioning because Eleon again. I wish they would stop breaking things.

Reforged Galaxy 1.5-86
  • Minor buff to the SV Medium Jet Thruster (Not the Medium Jet Booster)
  • Fixed missing story POI spawn on Swamp Starter.

Reforged Galaxy 1.5-86
  • Increased the delay of pre-emptive strikes against CVs to 20 seconds.
  • Updated pre-emptive strikes to include 1 minigun drone and 1 rocket drone instead of a bomber. (Should've been changed a few hotfixes ago, but I forgot to include the updated files)
  • Reduced cost of the Laser Drill. No longer requires Zascosium.

Hotfix update for Reforged Eden:
  • Added Reforged versions of trading stations to the main trading station playfields.
    Stations outside of the trade station sectors will still use the vanilla trading stations. I want to avoid making too many changes now that it's stable.

Hotfix update for Project Eden:
  • Added Heavy Beam Laser Turret to tech tree. You must now unlock it.
  • Colonists ammo is now craftable.
  • Dual Light Missile Turrets don't work on planets anymore.
  • Increased average cost of Scrapyard salvage license from 25,000 to 50,000 credits.
  • Fixed infinite reputation exploit with Polaris.
  • Fixed indestructable turret on Lost Colony Ship.
  • Added pickuptarget and templateroot to more Project Eden alien blocks. (Please let me know if you obtain a Project Eden Alien Blocks in survival mode).
  • Increased Bastion Shield Generator shield from 50,000 to 60,000 (Reforged Eden only).
  • Updated loading screens for Reforged Eden.

Update for Reforged Galaxy:
Reforged Galaxy 1.5-88
Another Hotfix:
- Fixed Solar Capacitors still being placeable on CVs.
- Fixed size display on CV Solar Panel parent block.

Hotfix:
- Minor fix to reputation between zirax and trader being reversed.

Update
  • Reduced attack range of various enemies.
  • Updated Abandoned Bunker with a fix for the LCD and spawns in the boss room.
  • Added new CV Solar Panels to replace the old ones which are now illegal. Remember to remove them from older blueprints as they are known to cause chunk deletion during saving on a server.
  • Added new Radioisotope Generator. Ultra Rare loot only. Provides infinite low-yield power as long as you are underneath its free energy cap and it has a source of fuel. Functions like a regular generator over 25% above it's free energy cap.
  • Disabled Zirax Space Attacks. It was an ugly system with almost as many bugs as the actual base attack system. It might make a return in future if it can be made properly functional without any bugs.
  • Increased minimum ore yield from surface rocks (Iron, Copper and Silicon) by 1 (guaranteeing at least 2 ore per rock).
  • Added new icons for CV Solar Panels and RTG; updated FragGrenade icon.

Update for Reforged Galaxy:
Hotfix again...
This is why Eleon have a closed testing group, to find problems like this. Unfortunately, you are all my lab rats so must suffer bugs appearing and this one is a weird one since normally it would throw a massive error and not load the game at all, prompting an immediate fix before I even released the previous updates.

- Fix for CV solar panels producing additional entries in their Base counterparts' block group.
- Updated Epsilon Spaceport so the doors are connected to the levers.

Minor hotfix for Project Eden:
  • Colonist ammo should be craftable now. For real. Honest.
  • Abandoned POIs on Barren planets now set to regenerate. (Vanilla bug that I fixed in the scenario)

For servers:
The playfield_static.yaml file under the Barren playfield was edited to add POI regeneration to the abandoned POI and TS groups.

The ItemsConfig file was edited under sections for:

It should work with the latest update but there may be game bugs and some poi spawns may need updated in the scenario.

Project Eden does still need to be updated for the latest version, but the changes involved are more than I have time to do at the moment so it may have to wait a few days. I thought I could get it done today.
Nothing really major, it's just you won't find some of the new Zirax and Warlord POIs yet.
But better I take the time to do it right so I don't have to do several updates in a row.

Please give Steam time to update your scenario files. You may have to perform a file validation through Steam or unsubscribe and resubscribe to get the update.
If updating a server please make sure the scenario files on your PC are up to date before copying them over.

Servers that use modified configs are responsible for managing their configs using tools such as Notepad++ or WinMerge.


Project Eden:
  • Updated Space Orbits with new Zirax and Warlord POIs.
  • Increased respawn timer of most patrol vessels and freighters to 1 hour.
  • Most Patrol Vessels and freighters in standard space orbits no longer respawn. Those in stations, asteorid fields, sites, and exotic or unique orbits, or those belonging to certain factions still respawn.
    These changes may not apply as space vessels might not actually respawn yet.

  • Added new tracers and explosion effects to some Project Eden weapons.
  • Added 2 new epic weapons from Ultra Rare containers.
  • Added volume to colonist and cruise missile turrets.
  • Correctly set Colonist Scrapyard License to 50,000 credits.
  • Balanced Scrapyard traders (some were set way too high, but it should still be a good place to sell extra loot).
  • Fixed typo in Beginner starting planet description.
  • Double Barrel Shotgun: Reduced spread from 3.0 to 2.8. Increased damage from 100 per pellet to 115.
  • Gauss Shotgun: Lowered headshot multiplier from 3.0 to 2.0.
  • Syndicate Uzi: Increased damage of both fire modes from 35 to 42.
  • Added Polaris Refinery License and Titanium Ore to Polaris Refineries. (Reforged Eden)

  • Reduced weight of Antimatter Tank to match that of a normal Pentaxid Tank.
  • Fixed missing reinforced loot containers and shield generators on Drone Swarm ships and POIs.
  • Increased range of Colonists Bolter and Light Missile turrets on planets.
  • Doubled the base value of cargo deliveries meaning both the collateral and payout is doubled.
  • Fixed name of Platinum Asteroids in M2 orbits.
  • Reduced chance of a Legacy POI in Legacy asteroid fields from 100% to 50%.
  • Reduced count of Legacy patrol vessels in Legacy asteroid fields from 2-3 to 1-3.
  • UCH Researchers no longer accept navigational data and instead direct you to the Research Computer.
  • Updated models for fruit, spice, vegetable, and berry hydroponics bays. Updated icons for grown hydroponics bays for creative mode. (Icons not fixed in Reforged)
  • Updated icons for focusing lens (thanks to Vermillion).
  • Added DesertBurnt (vanilla) planets to solar systems.
  • (Reforged Eden) Increased costs of Auxillary CPUs to balance with Reforged Galaxy costs. Forgot to do this, enjoy your lower cost cores until next update. :D

Reforged Galaxy:
Reforged Galaxy V1.5-89
Minor update to fix a few bugs with POI generation.
Includes some changes I was planning on leaving for the 1.6 update, but might as well include them here.

  • Reduced attack range of various enemies.
  • Reduced Infester sprint speed by 40%.
  • Reduced Nyxiss Scorpion sprint speed by 30%.
  • Reduced Overseer sprint speed by 15%.
  • Slight reduction to some legacy creature's HP.
  • Reduced Symbiote HP from 20,000 to 15,500.
  • Updated Abandoned Bunker again to fix the older model that was being used. Updated version has less enemies and more loot.
  • Updated Abandoned Depot. Fixed the rock coming through the basement walls and removed the respawning infester near the ramp downstairs.
  • Updated Elder's Tomb. Disabled respawning static enemies and moved the spawners around a bit (to keep you all on your toes).
  • Updated Xenu Mainframe. The shutter doors open when you're further from them because of dumb players.
    The anti-dumb lever in the incinerator also doesn't seem to be educating the dumb people it was meant for, so it was removed.
    Expanded the ventilation vent and added a sign on the door because again, dumb people.
  • Indigestion no longer reduces health (leftover from vanilla)
  • Reduced amount of HP lost from some status effects.
  • Fixed CPU cost on Detailed Heavy Windows.
  • Fixed XP and yield for Alien Thorn plants. Plants types now give 1, 2 and 3 thorns instead of 1, 1, 3 and XP yield from picking is 30, 60, 90 instead of 100, 100, 60.
  • Opuntia Cactus (gives 2 alien thorn now) will give Opuntia Cactus Spears when destroyed instead of plant fiber. Because why not?
  • Fixed spawn offset on Zirax Vehicle Port.
  • Updated Epsilon Advanced Spaceport (Door no longer pushes player into the ground, core door signal fixed)
  • Reduced HP of Imperial Plasma Artillery from 17500 to 12500, less than a Retractable Heavy Artillery Turret.
  • Updated Hacking Item icons
  • Renamed Scrambled Eggs to Hard-Boiled Egg - Now has a unique icon.
  • Fixed bug with Trader reputation loss from killing zirax drones. Was supposed to go the other way: killing traders now reduces zirax rep by 5.
  • Fixed one of the three trade station variants having security spawners active, producing hostile androids.
    Increased loot chance of Small, Large and Advanced Upgrade Kits from alien loot containers.

Please give Steam time to update your scenario files. You may have to perform a file validation through Steam or unsubscribe and resubscribe to get the update.
If updating a server please make sure the scenario files on your PC are up to date and the server is stopped, then copy the scenario files over to your server again.

Servers that use modified configs are responsible for managing their configs using tools such as Notepad++ or WinMerge.

  • Fixed killing Zirax giving negative reputation with Traders. Now killing Traders gives -10 reputation with Zirax as intended.
    Updated the DefReputation.ecf file for this change. Please make sure you use the updated file for your servers to prevent losing reputation with Traders!
