The stars are technically the combo numbers. I'll have to experiment with numbers again. Original reason that I replaced them with stars is to reduce the distraction from checking your combo, at least in my case.

that in the skin.ini to make the judgment counter colors line up with the modified judgement colors?

first of all this mod slaps, though id love more ui stuff and a cursor, maybe an osu style fade dot with half purple half yellow colors.
