!!! FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions !!!
1. Does this mod also add machine traits?

1A: No it doesn't but the next update after 1.0 will add a bunch of cool machine traits for you to use in species creation

2. The empire modifiers aren't applied, whats wrong?

2A: There could be two reasons for this: The first being that the trait you selected simply doesn't add an empire modifier. Empire modifiers are only added by traits that use modifiers not meant to be used for species traits. For example anything related to ship and weapon damage modifiers.

The Second reason could be that the pop that has the trait isn't a citizen in your empire. ONLY pops that have the living status "Citizenship" will add their modifiers to your empire. Residence, slave, purge or livestock pops won't.

3. Where can I see the empire modifiers?

3A: In the top left of your screen click on the flag of your empire and on the first page of the window that opens you can see all your empire modifiers in the list on the bottom right of said window.

4. The photosynthesis trait doesn't work properly, whats wrong?

4A: I had to change some vanilla code to make this trait work as intended so there could be compatibility issues if you use a lot of mods. Especially mods that change something about the homeworld layout.

5. The planet modifier applied by the Invasive trait isn't going away even if I remove it from the species and/or resettle said species from the planet. How to get rid of it?

5A: The game will check regulary if a species with the Invasive trait is present on your planets and either apply or remove the modifier. It does this for example every time a new pop has grown on your planet. Just wait a few months or a year ingame and the modifier should be gone.

Is there any way to add more trait picks in the species creator? atm some of the expensive traits require several negative traits to balance out and I run out of picks so I can't fully customize the species how I want it if for example they are immortal.

@Agent: Already answered this question in the main comment section. The traits are designed with vanilla trait limit in mind balance wise. There are mods that do what you want so you should download those. Just keep in mind that balance could be off if you decide to do so :)
