I haven't played with them yet. So, not likely.
Minimum 2x2x3 hitbox is required for player to have enough room without colliding with anything around when leaving the seat. However I plan to add new instrument panel(s) which has no voxel in front of the dials.
Anyway, I think you see my point. Is there any way you could fix this?
Oh, and I know you said you want to be conservative on adding new components, but if you have some extra room, adding a sort of small 1x1x1 turbine that accepts engine exhaust and outputs torque would be perfect to allow us to make actual turbocharged modular engines as opposed to making superchargers that just look like turbos. (For those who don't know, the impeller pumps that currently exist in the game act as superchargers rather than real turbochargers, since they draw power from the engine crankshaft rather than engine exhaust gases.)
I don't know how to remove unpowered wheel drag atm. (except wheel grip slider)
New kind of components with new features like turbocharger is probably not possible as far as I know. But if it is possible I'll definitely give it a try.
Helicopter seat would require different character pose that the game has not right now.
