Feature Expansion: Invert Segment on Pedestrian Paths

I'm a bit particular on where the light posts line up on my pedestrian paths. I was hoping the Invert Segment tool would work on pedestrian paths like on other roads, but it does not appear to do so. Any chance this feature could be expanded upon to work on the walking paths?
