The only valid points you have here in the context of the mod are the Overclock armor, and the Umbral Clicker, which will get nerfed next update.
Calamity is designed to be played by itself, with the only other mods being quality of life mods, or mods that are specifically designed to work with Calamity. There is no point to compare this mod to it, since this is not one of those mods designed to work with Calamity, since it is balanced around vanilla.
First of all, I would like to tell you that I am sorry for not writing it in English, but since my main language is Spanish and I handle it better, I prefer to do it that way. If any developer takes the time to read it with a translator or if they somehow know Spanish, I would love to know what you think. Have a nice day.
I have more than 1500 hours in Terraria, which have to include those of the TmodLoader and the Terraria. I have played "Thorium" (do not finish it), "Calamity" (more than once), "Elemental Awakened", and probably many others but I do not remember. With that said, I have to mention that it is clearly not intended that this mod is played with others of great content and obviously you can notice the shortcomings taking into account all the extra of the other classes. Even with all this, the progress of the Calamity feels quite comfortable with the Clicker class. To begin, I will review the mod to a few post-moonlord bosses, to be exact, until "Providence, the Profaned Goddess", since then it will be totally obsolete.
To begin, we have to have the context in which I played: Medium World, Crimson, Master Mode, Death Mode and being 3 people. We wanted to know who did the damage during boss fights, so we put on the "DPSextreme" mod, to see if the Clicker class had any chance with the new weapons and bosses of the Calamity.
A few details to keep in mind before continuing. I will not mention anything directly from Calamity because of how vast and enormous in terms of content it is. The armors and accessories of it, are better than those of the Clicker, but since I want to talk about my experience as a Clicker within the Calamity, I will only specify it within the hardmode.
*PRE-HARDMODE
The beginning, unfortunately, was insufferable, like every beginning in terraria. Here I already have things to comment, such as how late a class armor is made. The grace of using a specific class is to look for things in it. The magician with jungle or meteorite armor, the shooter with the fossil, the melee the crimson and the summoner the obsidian. Meanwhile you with gold or platinum armor. I literally used almost to the lord of the moon the melee armor, because of the low range of clicks and the few decent armors, but that's for later.
We move on to the Skeleton and its dungeon. At this point you can already make your class armor, which has nothing special, understanding that, we are with the crimson armor, which increases all the damage by at least 6%, being not very different from the statistics of the new armor, and even the bonus set of increasing the rank in a position does not make much sense understanding the bosses that come after the dungeon. I have to add that I didn't play with any kind of external autoclick, or any mod for this, until before Duke Fishron.
Returning to the thread of the dungeon, you do the usual, look for golden keys and open chests, get objects from enemies, bones, etc. At this point in 90% of cases I did hardly any damage compared to my friends (I reiterate, I only pressed the left button with all my strength, without external help). Doubts about whether to continue as a Clicker arose, at least until, with the dark key, I went down to hell and got the "Clicker Threshold". This clicker was the salvation, although I have to say that it was a little too strong. Use it more or less until after Plantera, being one of the clickers that do the most damage.
Going against the fleshy wall, go from being the weakest to the strongest, with respect to damage. At this point I hesitated whether to use the "Motherboard armor" instead of the "Fused Armor" because of the little defense it provides, understanding that the Clicker class is almost melee to melee. In the end I decided to continue with the class armor, even if it meant holding less, since I wanted to experience what the mod delivered (it cost us about 4 attempts the boss thanks to the changes it has for the Calamity). And with this, we move on to hardmode, where my biggest problems with the mod in question are.
*HARDMODE
Thanks to the changes of the Calamity with respect to the hardmode, the "RGB armor" is better than the cobalt or palladium. However, a problem happens. The calamity adds 4 bosses in this section and plus the 3 mechanics and the Slime Queen, would be 8 bosses with the same armor and same Click, unless you want to use weapons that hit less, such as; Arthur's Clicker, Titanium Clicker, Corrupt Clicker, even if they are functional, in my experience, they are worse than the gloomy chest.
From the beginning of the hardmode to the golem, you will probably only change weapons and armor once, the "Overclock armor", which is too powerful, to the point of being able to finish the Lord of the Moon with it. With the theme of bosses, if you include the bosses of the Calamity, the mod becomes monotonous and linear, in fact, you could consider that even in the vanilla game it becomes quite simple. At this point I decided not to use that armor and make the golem to enjoy the content of the Clicker class, assuming that I would hit less.
The final stretch begins. We will not take into account Duke Fishron and the Empress of Light, because of how optional and difficult they are. Going straight to the Cultist (remember the existence of all the Calamity bosses before him), I decided, unfortunately, to make the melee armor from a worm mod material, if you understand what I'm talking about. If he wasn't with the Calamity it would be the same situation, he makes the beetle armor and starts the lunar event. If you use beetle armor, I recommend using some melee weapon to compensate for the lack of damage that can be had.
With the pirales in play, enters the "Mice", the latest material of Clicker class mod. At this point one already has to try all the Clicks available, test, test and test, until you find the one that really convinces you. The fight against the Lord of the Moon is the same as always, although with some small differences typical of Calamity. With the lord dead, you have the last armor and the last clickers. Here ends the content of the "Clicker class mod", but, even so, it can continue to be used. As I mentioned at the beginning, I used this class until Providence, the Profaned Goddess, and it was quite functional, however, because of the materials dropped from this point, it would cease to be useful, becoming technically the last boss of this class within the Calamity.
With all this I want to make it clear that "Clicker class mod", I find a very interesting mod, but with some details that lack polishing, lack development in the armor so that the "verclock armor" is not the best armor, the accessories are not good enough to change those that come in the vanilla and less taking into account the Calamity, Although they are good buffos for the main class and some things are really expensive or rare to get for how impractical they are, not to mention the damage that I generate in my hand for the excess of clicks I had to give. If some collaboration with the developers of Calamity or another mod with great content was achieved, it would become a much richer and more fun experience to play. It should be noted that I did not try everything and each of the things that the mod brings, but if enough to say that it is a good mod, therefore, I would like them to continue working on it.
I wish the developers good luck and thank you for making me enjoy Terraria even more.
