Not recieving any progress from killing bosses[figured out so ill post it to help others]
i wanted to play this on a character i already had so i put the astral console thingy into a chest and started the game, however upon killing the bosses I did not recieve any progression.

The fix is really simple, exit and re enter the world, and it asks you to sync progression to the world and it gave me everything.
