Can't reforge Stars Above weapons

Exactly as the title says. Whenever I put in a weapon from Stars Above into the Goblin Tinkerer, the menu just instantly closes. I had Auto Reforge installed a bit ago, though I did disable it. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I solve it? Or is this intended?

This isn't totally accurate. It seems like it might be the Stars Above weapons that use crafting materials from other mods won't let me reforge. I can reforge the Carian Dark Moon, but the Aegis Driver boots me from the menu.
