Known issues and quirks
Issue: Help! My UI disappeared after I accepted a refugee and reloaded into my save!
Notes: This is a known issue with Remove Industrial Stuff's assembly.
Solution: The solution is to either arrest the pawn or go into debug and "Destroy" (not Kill) the pawn. It should fix the issue.
UPDATE: I've contacted the mod author, and Remove Industrial Stuff is updated. If you're experiencing this issue, delete and unsub from the mod and re-sub and download. It should fix the issue.


Issue: A pawn with a shield equipped just bashed my colonist 25 times in a second!?!?!?
Notes: The working thought is that the pawns are detecting the shield is a better melee weapon and repeatedly switching to it, then switching back to main hand, which is detected as better and immediately switched to again.
Solution: A soft-fix would just be disabling auto-weapon switching in simple sidearms if this is the cause. Feel free to try it and let me know.

Issue: I chose to have Rome appear as a WorldGen faction, but it only appeared after reloading the game. Why?
Notes: This is actually part of the original mod pack--Rome was not meant to be a world faction--you're playing Rome (or Reme). If you'd like to have Rome on the world map you'll have to set their faction tech level to Neolithic, which will involve a patch update. This is easily done by checking my ClassicalTechologyPatch to see how I did this for factions like Sparta.

Issue: I was notified that my underage pawn was elected leader, but they don't have the title... Why?
Notes: Rimocracy assumes all colonists are adults, but it can't assign titles to children; so, it says they're elected, but they aren't old enough to hold the title. It's just an unfortunate quirk of Rimocracy and Ideology.

Issue: I have [insert_horrible_issue_here] issue when loading the game!
Notes: Often issues you encounter when first loading the game are due to old configs from previous versions of mods.
Solution: Go to your config folder, which should be located here: ..\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config, and delete everything but the ModLists, Ideos, Scenario, Saves directories.Then restart Rimworld.

why does rome not spawn when i create the world, but only when i re-enter it?

I have no idea what you mean. Do you mean the faction of Rome?

Same thing happened to me, the Rome faction was created after loading in the second time but who knows

Hi I can´t really work out how to use the pack with prepare carefully. Would you have an idea what the problem might be?

I've removed PrepareCarefully from the pack due to compatibility issues.

What is the best way to send a debug log without copying and pasting the whole thing in a comment

Using this mod pack and the Founding Rome scenario...
World gen does not show ideology screen.
I select my story teller (Neron) and then it shows the generating screen and crashes.

Logs end with the following:
Could not find player faction.

Issue is repeatable.

I think I'm misunderstanding. Are we meant to use both Babies and Children and the CSL mod? As well as Age Matters?

The best way is to use ctrl+F12. It will provide a link with the debug log.

Make sure you've cleared your previous configs and you do NOT have any outdated versions of mods. Some of these mods got 1.3 updates, but you sometimes have to double-check that they're all updated.

i tried copying the modlist in mod manager but it said it had invalid mapping

Copy the xml file that you download and paste it into your ..\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\ModLists folder. It should appear correctly as an option to load in Modmanager.
