Seems that the battle cry only works for the first player that uses it and locks out other characters from using it in any multiplayer server. I did several tests and found out that the item works fine in single player, but it won't work for the same character in any multiplayer server, as well as the calming feature does not work in multiplayer at all. Tested with another character in a multiplayer server and the increased spawning works fine.
