Remove Damage Debuff from Boom Shurkens.
I've been using the Boom Shurikens for many useful things, such as super fast ore hunting, containing hardmode Vs and other evil biomes, and making caves or builds. But ever since you made boom shurikens KILL you now, there is no reason for me to use them at all. This decision of changing a 3 year long item is absolutely absurd and the worst you have ever done.

making them do damage has negated all use for them, if a chest cant be broken boom you die, if a bat flies by and you hit it cuz you cant see, boom you die... i see where the idea was good but it needs scratches because it disrupts the flow of making it worth while, too many deaths from trying to mine

Please remove the self damage from the shurikens. There was a reason why they were amazing. Or atleast add an item or permanent buff that removes the self damage again.

Pls undo this change. They are truly unusable now, aside from the damage, the knockback on top of that makes them nearly useless Pre-Skeletron unless ur an absolute madlad and farm for gladiator armor. But that won't help with the damage.

I really don't see why this was done, or why there isn't atleast a conifg option to turn the damage off. It truly ruined the boom shurikens.

For people looking to remove this feature, someone made a mod that specifically undoes this change called "Friendly Boom Shurikens" by Mysteryboi21

bro and now they made it to where it doesnt even throw out quick cuz it scales with ur pickaxe speed might be the must retarded update ive ever seen if anyone reading t his wants to have no damage from the shurkiens there's a mod that removes the damage

I can agree that the boom shuriken nerf is the dumbest ♥♥♥♥ to be in the game. They are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ now cause of it

i agree, can they make boom shurikens faster again, there is quite literally no use for them anymore. well unless you are in hardmode, but at that point in the game you only need to blow up things in front of you while mining for hard mode ores, meaning that the the damage they deal to you makes them useless.

I did some testing and even with the fastest mining load out to scale with shurikens, they're still worse than without the pickaxe scaling, so even in hardmode they're useless. At that point dynamite has more use
