To fix this issue, I would assume making it only process 2 or 3 recipes per game tick would probably fix the issue entirely
I believe, that's not the case.
I've removed Fargo, tried to research and it went fine – but after re-adding the mod and researching another item it broke again :(
When I try to research any other item however it works just fine.
Maybe there is something broken in Fargo recipes related to souls of light...
You can probably minimize the chance of it freezing if you take big recipe chains step by step, for instance, instead of researching Torches and then Wood, it's better to research Wood then Torches, because it reduces how much the game has to handle at once.
