Translate the text inside the CDATA brackets:

Don't translate the colour_start etc. parts, but translate whatever is in between them:
<entry id="str_2"><![CDATA[Translate this {colour_start|whatever} and translate this{colour_end} and don't forget this]]></entry>

Hey chogex, I am currently working on the french translation, although I wanted to ask you some questions on discord but it seems like the tag you gave doesn't work.
