Winter Mod , but maybe with restrictions.
I'm currently working on a winter mod that is almost done (I thought) BUT
there is a huge problem.
The SCS developers decided to paint several parts of the terrain in the original map with green color and so far I haven't found a way to remove these green areas without editing the entire map of Europe.

I already asked in the SCS forum for help , but unfortunately no one gives me an answer. :(

Which brings us to the second problem.

If I can't find any other solution besides changing the map then the mod will NOT be compatible with ProMods and the mod will probably not be released until next year.

It will be a while before winter comes and I still have some hope. But if it doesn't work without editing the map, I apologize in advance.

sounds allright, maybe some random ice on the road, make it more difficult to drive.

Imho an immersive winter mod should also affect the driving experience. Maybe you can consider some changes there, too.

Das wird schon. Vielleicht fragst du mal TruckersMP. Die haben sogar Eis auf der Fahrbahn, sodass man es auch schwer hat durch den Verkehr zu kommen.
Und den Rest kannst du dann selber entscheiden, wie du es haben möchtest.

Hello @d-luX,
These green parts in the map are not removeable. I read a comment wich said that you have to ask the maker of the frostymod and how he dealt with the problem, but I've been playing with the frostymod resently alot and he didn't remove these parts too, so we got to live and play with these until SCS decides to give you an answer on that problem that maybe solves that.:steamthumbsup:
