Can it be adapted to JRPG perspective?

Think RPG Maker games, A Link To The Past, Chrono Trigger, etc. If so, how hard it'd be?

Well I haven't looked at the code in some time. But dig in man, see what you can do. Even if you don't you will probably learn a ton!
