Suggestions for the far future (maybe)
Given what TheBIGE said and that their top priory is only to update & maintain.id figure id give suggestions anyway, perhaps in the future they will have the opportunity to add with some help.plus given how much potential this mod has,i just cant get these ideas out of my mind.

- remove the CBs added by this mod.pivot away from giving the player direct access to war for religion.seems to easy for the player just to smash smash at other empires.

- add a religious victory condition tied to how many empires follow your religion.this would be different then the domination cb given you dont have to control the galaxy to win.

- set up a unique mechanic where your able to build churches in other empire worlds (like corporate) giving you a bonus. or perhaps a planet decision.

- add espionage events tied to spreading religion or stopping religious spread.if discovered leads to religious or anti religion war.this would be a war where no planets are exchanged only would remove /expel the religious pops from the mpire if victorious.

- add rebellion events tied to religious spread depending on which empire its being spread to (how would a certain ai personality handle the new religion)

- add policies/events to stop internal religious spread.

- events tied to finding heretics/love of all religion in order to give non religious empires a chance

- gain a unique cb when a certain religion has spread over a certain amount of the galaxy i,ie 50 percent.if won the head of religion reverts to the empire with the most followers and the cb keeps being gained by an empire with low amount of pop followers or rival. to prevent constant wars, the relgion would lose a certain percentage of followers after each victory.

- have flavor events allowing you to name your religion and setting laws related to it.events/policies tied to religion flavour .

- expand the religious paths as a way to set what ive mentioned above ^.

if yall have any suggestions lets share them here.like i said before maybe one day more modders will join in on making this mod the best it can be and we can be the start of the creativity process

I will allow this suggestion thread to remain up as it may serve as a good containment area for the folks who refuse to read the mod description and insist on making suggestions anyway despite my inability to implement them at this time. I will begin instructing folks to put their suggestions here if they absolutely need to do so, as well as deleting comments in the main Workshop comments page that do not follow this instruction.

If I am ever fortunate enough to be given assistance by anyone who is even marginally experienced in modding, I guarantee that the CB issue will be the first thing that is addressed, and the rest will be evaluated for its feasibility and balance.

If your willing to take a suggestion or a idea for that matter, not one for the current mod though it could be if you add a additional belief system. Anyways it’s basically a religion around worshiping the player themselves as both the protector, guardian and all knowing god of the empire/state, this system would give a ton of bonuses in terms of pop happiness, amenities, ethic attraction and more. Also those bonuses would mostly occur when the player gives orders to the pops, fleets and various other things regarding your empire.

It would basically make your empires empress or Emperor the top priest or priestess towards you and the one “most in tune” to you.

I think it would be a reasonable and fun addition, to make empires following your own religion more likely to accept being a tributary/protectorate/etc. as they are familiar with your empires culture. That could make religion a way of peacefully expand your empire.

I wish we could have the option for an 8 Ethics Point version of the mod. That way some empires don't need to have an official stance on Religion, without wasting an Ethic Point, it will give them the option to be dual extremes like the following. Fanatic Xenophile and Fanatic Libertarian or Fanatic Xenophobe and Fanatic Militarist. That way you have some empires that don't care about official religion policy as much as the other prospects. That's impossible right now. Because 7 points aren't enough to ignore religion without wasting ethical points. This will give a lot more options to certain empires.

I think irreligious should be baned from being spiritual fanatic or dogmatic. Atheism should be baned from being spiritual, but can be dogmatic. Others I think are fine. Confucianism is a perfect exemple of Agnostic religion, and it can be quite fanatic and dogmatic. Taoism can be considered as Animatism, and Shinto is Animism. In my oppinion Buddhism can be somewhat considered as a "secular" religion, since it is committed to finding a universal spiritual way. They are all suitable to the current system, I only think more restrictions should be added on Atheism and irreligious

No religious beliefs will be banned or excluded from selection because of any other ethics, this is a hard stance we've taken in regards to how the mod is set up based on Complex's original vision. However, I am working on implementing some changes to the ethics attraction system, making it so certain beliefs are less attractive in empires with certain ethics (for example, atheism and irreligious would have very little attraction in a fanatic spiritualist empire).

I think now that Unity is a more important resource, and also one that is thematically connected with spiritualism and religion, the prices for the Council of Faith trees would make more sense to be in Unity instead of Influence. Of course the prices would now also have to be increased, in order to not make waltzing through the entire tree so easy. But the change is entirely up to You.
can u change pantheons ingame?
