Update 22

a smol update hopefully fixing some crashes people were having, although not everyone seemed to be getting them so kinda hard to understand what exactly was happening. Also finally the Lost Sons of Bretonnia will have hero actions now!!

Mods Removed:

- Ai Evolution (Beta) (removing both ai mods from the previous update as I believe one or both were causing the crashes a few people had)
- AI Occupation Decision

Mods Added:

- Lore Names: Renamed Factions & New Evolving Names - For SFO (a fix for the empire and high elf intrigue mechanic that stopped working properly when a faction got renamed)
- Lost Son of Bretonnia Fix For Erynn's Big SFO Collection (finally fixed!!)

Update 23 (2 year anniversary!)

Updating submods, removing mods I'm not liking as much anymore, nerfing lords a bit and making the ai stronger. I've managed to do about 150 turns of a vampire coast campaign so far with no crashes or noticeable bugs. I've also manually gone through almost every packfile in this entire collection to make sure things are compatible.

Mods Removed:

- Faction Unit Cards II (just for a bit of change)
- Normal traits extended (lords are just super strong in this modlist so I'm removing a couple mods which are contributing to this as I feel they need some nerfs)
- Better Artifacts TWW2 (same reason as above)
- Kaylica's Lahmians (adding a mod which adds neferata as a legendary lord so it would be a bit odd with 2 neferatas on the map)
- Kaylica's Lahmians - SFO - Last Kiss
- SFO better chaos invasion (late invasion) (replacing it with the earlier invasion as its very rare i actually play a campaign long enough to reach turn 160 and I'm usually immensely strong by that point so this adds some more difficulty by having them arrive earlier)
- Legendary Lore (ive pretty much read all the lore entries that pop up for the factions i play most so i end up just skipping them so im removing it reduce the amount of clicking youve gotta go through each turn as there can be quite a lot sometimes)
- Mixu's: Vangheist's Revenge (i just do not like vangheist declaring random wars that you cant even bring allies into or if youre on good standing with the dreadfleet and they just declare war on you which brings the dreadfleet into the war too)
- Mixu's: Vangheist's Revenge - SFO
- Pierce's Better Sieges (basically the stuff i want from this mod are things that are already in sfo so its a bit redundant)
- Pierce's Better Sieges for SFO
- Victory Conditions Overhaul 2 - Framework (just removing it for a change in victory conditions as I've played with this mod loads now and it usually ends up in much shorter campaigns)
- Victory Conditions Overhaul 2 - Main Mod
- VCO2 + SFO Patch
- Diplomatic Options - Vassal, Liberate & Confederate (changing to the version that is just vassalisation as I didnt really like liberate when we have recruit defeated legendary lords and i dont mind not being able to confederate as some factions)
- Miscast Mod - SFO (changing for a differently balanced sfo patch)
- Qualitative Additional Improvement (i really like massive battles but these feel too op on quite a few factions and I've been enjoying battles less with all these summons popping up everywhere)
- Better Vanilla Rank Icons (changing for a rank icon i like better)
- 믹수+SFO 호환 및 스킬트리 픽스 ver.1 (its mixu's LL1 submod, just removing for a more updated version)
- Ai Army Tasks and Strategy (removing for a different ai mod)
- Ai Fortified System Building (same as above)
- Ai Recruitment Unleashed (same as above)
- AI Tweaks - No Anti-Player (same as above)
- Improved AI Skill Selection (honestly doesnt make a ton of sense having it with sfo as it will be balanced around vanilla skills)
- Loreful Great Power (a really cool mod, unfortunately it doesnt seem to work with sfo as it has the penalties for ai vs ai factions but not for the human player so all its really doing is just removing the great power penalty instead of repalcing it)
- Matched Combat (had a couple people saying they were having issues with it in thiss modlist so removing it just in case, and its not often I will be watching the units that closely anyway so not a huge loss)

Mods Added:

- Bordergore Fix (helps ai gain entire provinces which should help them in multiple ways)
- Bound Fireball fix while on a mount for SFO
- Diplomatic Options - Vassal All Factions
- Enhanced Experience Icons
- Legions of Nagash (a really cool mod that adds nagash along with a new tomb king faction that is a bit of a mix of all 3 undead factions)

- LoW - Legion of Myrmidia (adds some insanely cool looking myrmidian units that ive been wanting in the collection for ages and can finally add now ive finished the sfo submod lol)
- LoW - Legion of Myrmidia - SFO Patch
- Miscast Mod - SFO - Jack's Rebalance
- Mixu‘s Legendary Lord 1 - SFO submod
- Mixu's Unlocker and SFO script compatibility (this was something i notced was an issue ages ago and had manually fixed it in my version of the mods but its good that theres a mod for it now, main thing you should notice is a large increase in the rewards for vampire coast treasure hunts to make them much more worth going out of your way to do)
- Quest Auto Resolver (ive played some quest battles so many times id rather just autoresolve them a lot of the time)
- SFO better chaos invasion (early invasion)
- Ultra Aggressive & Smart AI
- Vassal Corruption Immunity From Master (just makes sense imo)

Update 24

removing the reskin mods and the cbe blood mod as i have found significant improvement with fps in battles so far. fixed conflicts with the chaos invasion mod so it works properly now and is significantly harder than before so be extra careful around turns 100 and 160 as nowhere is safe. I have also sorted the collection alphabetically so please look over the whole collection when adding the new mods rather than just at the bottom this time

Mods Removed:

- CBE | Cinematic Battle Effects 3.8+ Blood Addon - BETA (has helped improve fps in battles)
- Thunderbarge Alternate Shooting Setup/Animation (grown to like the original shooting animation more lol)
- Flamboyant's - Events Compilation (there were some events in this that I dont like so im removing it and adding the individual ones i do like from this compilation)
- Uniforms and Heraldry of the Skaven
- Varied Monsters Compilation
- Ogres Can Climb Walls (honestly no idea why i put this in here in the first place since it gets overwritten anyway lol)
- Fudging Vassals (seemed to cause a couple issues with the chaos invasion mod)
- Begone Colonel! (never once had a colonel before this mod and not since removing it, i put it in as a precaution but honestly the less redundant scripts in the list the better)
- Arkhan the Black: Expanded (the sfo submod for this doesnt remove all the original tk units so arkhans roster just tends to be a lot of duplicate units, i do think it is a very cool mod tho but definitely more suited for vanilla)
- Arkhan the Black: Expanded (SFO Submod: Beastmen)
- Chaos Mutations - SFO (it sucks im removing this one cus i love this mod but it caused the chaos invasion mod to just really not work, like quite often it would spawn and it wouldnt be at war with anyone, im guessing cus theres just so much script stuff happening in one turn it causes issues)

- Diplomatic Options - Vassal All Factions (i like the idea of vassals but i never end up making any and it makes the ai sometimes vassalise a faction when they would be better off just taking that settlement for themselves anyway)
- SFO better chaos invasion (early invasion) (now ive actually fixed the issues and this mod works properly, im switching back to the late invasion as it is just too hard this early on imo)
- Vassal Corruption Immunity From Master (not of use anymore since we won't be making vassals)
- (SFO Grimhammer Standalone Submod) Merwyrms and More (not a huge fan of this mod and especailly not a fan of vampire coast legendary lords with like 40k hp)

Update 24.5

less of an update and more of an announcement but there is now an alternative load order you can play with that removes most (not all) of the unit mods so that there is no unit bloat. This is mainly for people who would just like to play with more factions/mechanics/stronger ai etc but do not like unit bloat. The only exception is that skaven still feel a bit bloaty due to moulders menagerie adding many stormfiend types but everything else should feel bloat free. I test updates to this mod collection with both load orders so you should be able to rely on them both being stable.


The different load orders are not save game compatible with each other
