Headlights getting damaged despite having bull bars.

I think this is more of a missing feature than a bug, but I have the improved bull bars installed on my bus. However, every time I ram into anything, the headlights will also take damage as if there were no bull bars protecting them, the hood gets protected, why not the headlights as well?
