SLAP rounds. Could be for bolt action rifles since they were only made for larger calibers, but if you feel like giving them to all weapons that would be cool. They were really only means to be the biggest middle finger possible to armor so maybe make them insanely good at penetration with a slight damage reduction (since the rounds are solid and don't really expand) with a huge boost in muzzle velocity and a bump up in accuracy? Just an idea

Tranquilizer Darts: essentially a more powerful, conventional equivalent to Plague Darts. Like the PD's, tranqs are whisper quiet and increase your mag size, but it still cannot penetrate armor and can no longer infect targets. Tranq darts will kill like regular bullets due to them being used primarily for sedating large animals like Gorillas or Tigers.

A reverse Accelerator FCG: a Decelerator if you will

A universal caseless ammunition would be pretty neat. Maybe an added benefit of greater magazine capacity with higher cycle rate (nothing to eject) at the cost of low penetration since they might not have as much power? I'm not sure what other quirks would be available to add. If you wanted to make it super unique like the Steyr ACR's ammunition? Just some ideas :)

Non lethal rubber bullets which do a tiny amount of damage to slow the person shot a lot and stun them

3d printed internals: lighter and have a faster fire rate but are susceptible to overheating easily. for that maximum escape the wrath of the ATF feel

an ammo type for high caliber rifles, shotguns (maybe) and explosive launchers. a physical bullet that latches onto surfaces and detonates after a set amount of time. decreases magazine capacity, increases recoil, decreases handling and movement speed

a firing group that slowly makes a firearm more accurate as you shoot it

silent ammo; makes your gun silent (quiet) in exchange for damage and range. im not sure why you would want this
