How does the recovery work

when i was recovering while playing couch play it teleports me to the orb but when i play on my own it works like ness recovery?

so basically, you gotta let go of the button after you create the Mind Ball, and you gotta move it to where you wanna be teleported to (think of it as Ness' PK Flash on smash bros).
Alternatively, either for damage when your head is fully upgraded or to launch yourself, you can hold the button to just make the ball explode.
